Each item is authenticated using our proprietary 72-point methodology, verified by four Hermès specialists and issued with a certificate backed by a lifetime financial guarantee. A formal market valuation is provided alongside the certificate, offering documentation suitable for insurers and advisors.
Authenticated by Aureon accepts items only from existing clients, known collectors and established corporate partners. Each submission arrives with a clear and verifiable background before it enters our system. We do not accept public submissions. Limiting access to trusted channels allows us to maintain full oversight of provenance at the first stage of review, significantly reducing the risk associated with unknown or unverified sources.
Our 72-point protocol is a proprietary system that brings structure and technical consistency to Hermès authentication. It covers all key construction and identification elements of the bag and creates a complete technical profile before independent review. Each item is examined in person by a certified Authenticated by Aureon specialist. We do not offer remote or image-based authentication and we do not use AI tools. The same item is then reviewed again by a second in-house specialist to ensure consistency across all findings.
Once internal checks are complete, the file is submitted to two independent external Hermès experts, neither affiliated with each other nor with Authenticated by Aureon. These reviewers conduct an objective assessment based on all collected data. If any expert does not confirm authenticity, a certificate is not issued.
A certificate is issued only when authenticity has been confirmed through all stages of review. The Authenticated by Aureon certificate includes a physical and digital record, a unique QR code and a lifetime financial guarantee. It is accompanied by a separate formal market valuation, forming a complete, professionally usable documentation pack.
